Code of Conduct

At PixelAndPistons, we sit at the intersection of digital precision and mechanical grit. We’re a community of builders, creators, and enthusiasts. To keep this space productive, we ask all members to follow these ground rules:

1. Respect the Craft Whether someone is troubleshooting a line of code or a leaky head gasket, treat every question with respect. We were all beginners once. No elitism; just expertise.

2. No “Flaming” or Harassment Debates over “Mac vs. PC” or “Electric vs. Internal Combustion” are welcome—personal attacks are not. We have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech, bullying, or derogatory comments.

3. Quality Over Noise If you’re sharing advice, ensure it’s helpful. If you’re sharing a project, provide context. Avoid spamming links or self-promotion that doesn’t add value to the conversation.

4. Safety First When discussing mechanical repairs or hardware modifications, always prioritize safety. Do not encourage others to engage in reckless behavior that could result in injury or permanent damage to equipment.

5. Moderation Our moderators reserve the right to remove any content or ban any user who violates these principles. We’re here to build a better community, one pixel and one piston at a time.
